People are saying that it’s about a view of perspective. Some say it’s because of brightness adjustment. I see gold and white. What color do you see?

“The true way to honor the past is to improve upon it.”

N. Eldon Tanner

Reflection:

I think what this quote is trying to say is that the only way to honor the past and to improve it, is to actually improve the pros of it. Not the cons. Always choose the right on improving things to make the past seem a brighter day and to uphold a new habit for future memories and recollections.

Video Response

There was a young lady (20 yrs-30 yrs old) who had found a ton of money inside a duffle bag. When I read the story I wasn't as interested. However, when I watched the video I was very interested in what she had to say. She said purely that it wasn't her call to take the money because God has something better to give her. And she gave it back to the rightful owner and she never felt better. I thought this was a good story to share with anyone because in the end, if you think about your actions long and hard, you will do the correct thing to do. The moral of this story is to choose the right.

“Right is right only when entire”

-          Victor Hugo

Reflection:

This quote means that if you don’t tell or do the whole truth, the entire thing is a lie. And if you don’t say the whole truth you will get into bigger trouble rather than lying. For example, today I came to school late and I had texted my mother that I came to school a few minutes late because I went to get Starbucks. Now that part is true, but what I haven’t told her yet is that I went to get Starbucks for my friend and I and then I went to her house so her dad can drive us to school.  I still have to tell her even if that means me getting into trouble, hopefully she understands it was just a nice gesture for my friend. If I don’t tell her the entire truth I can get into bigger trouble. And that’s not okay. It’s always best to tell the truth even if it means getting into trouble.
