Licensed Practical
Nurse (LPN)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) provide basic nursing care.
They work under the direction of registered nurses and doctors.
Salary:
$41,540
Education:
Licensed practical must
complete a state-approved educational program, which typically takes about 1
year to complete. They must also be licensed.
Reflection:
I wouldn’t like to become a nurse. I think they always seem
to get pushed around or mistreated in the medical industry. The pay is a bit
too low. I don’t think I would be able to handle all the hours and energy this
career requires.
