Student Success
Statement #2
“Real wealth is not so much what we
have as what we are.”
-Sterling W. Sill
I think what Sterling
W. Sill means by this quote is that no matter how rich or famous you are it’s
about what you have. It’s not about becoming a materialistic, no. It’s about
appreciating the little things and the big things that you have in your life.
For example, a lover, or a best friend, or a mother, or maybe even a loyal
companion. Money and fame do not define you. It’s everything that you do is
what counts. Sterling W. Sill reminds us to remember the little things and
become a better person by doing what’s right within yourself or the community.
